    I am a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh but moved to Tulsa, OK in 2020 as a Corps Member of Teach for America. I have continued to be informed about UNITES efforts through my son Ross who works for the organization. At today’s celebration event, I accepted the challenge to join and look forward to helping even from a distance.

    In case my previous comments did not go through I will repeat them here. We joined this organization because I struck up a conversation with Ross (from your organization while he was visiting DC. We were most impressed with him. I figured if Unite is staffed with people like Ross than Unite is an organization that is going to be effective.
