Almost two years ago, we launched UNITE! to push the boundaries of progressive politics in Allegheny County - and we celebrate the successes of 2019 and Spring 2020. As we push forward to Nov. 3rd, we must dedicate ourselves to our current endorsed candidates who will continue to advocate for the working people of Allegheny County.
Please join us for a vote on whether to endorsement the "Independent Citizen Police Review Board Charter Amendment" on the ballot for Pittsburgh voters
A vote "yes" supports amending the city charter to require police officers to cooperate with investigations by the Independent Citizen Police Review Board, authorizing the board to audit the police bureau, and change board member removal procedures.
A vote "no" opposes amending the city charter to require police officers to cooperate with investigations by the Independent Citizen Police Review Board, authorizing the board to audit the police burea, and change board member removal procedures.
In order to vote, you must be a current due-paying member of UNITE! (made a donation since Oct. 1, 2019). You email UNITE! Organizer Kacy to check if your membership is up to date at [email protected]
