State Rep Summer Lee 

Meet Summer 

Summer Lee serves as State Representative for the 34th District. Summer attended Woodland Hills High School and the Howard University School of Law. Summer worked with the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, where she was an Oliver White Hill Fellow, and in the Office of the General Counsel for the District of Columbia Public Schools. She also served as a student attorney in the Howard University School of Law Civil Rights Clinic, representing and assisting clients with civil rights complaints.

Ms. Lee worked as a field organizer for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party in 2016, organizing the community where she grew up. She organized with the Fight for $15, working to ensure fair wages and the right to unionize for fast food workers, and was a leader in struggles to improve the Woodland Hills School District.
